About Us
Two Bear Outfitters is based in southwest Montana, in the heart of some of the best big game country in the West. Aaron and his guides work year-round to prepare for the season and provide hunters with an authentic Montana hunting experience. From scouting remote country and running trail cameras to covering miles of ground shed hunting and learning animal patterns, the preparation never stops. The goal is simple: to give every hunter the opportunity for a true fair-chase hunt and a memorable experience in Montana’s wild country.
Two Bear Outfitters operates under Montana Outfitter License #66692 and is committed to ethical hunting practices, hunter safety, and respect for the land and wildlife that make these hunts possible.
Owner, Aaron Kelly
Aaron grew up learning the outdoors alongside his father, Jack Kelly, who worked for many years as a logger in Montana’s backcountry. Many of Aaron’s earliest memories come from the timber stands his father worked in across the state. After long days on the job, Jack would often take Aaron into the mountains to hunt whitetail deer and elk. Those early experiences sparked a passion for hunting and the outdoors that has stayed with Aaron ever since.
Our Hunting territory
Two Bear Outfitters guides hunts in the rugged mountain ranges of the Bitterroot National Forest in southwest Montana. Our operation holds one of the largest outfitting areas in the state, giving us access to vast stretches of prime big game habitat.
This expansive territory allows us to scout extensively and continually hunt fresh country. Rather than relying on the same locations year after year, we spend significant time exploring and learning new terrain to ensure hunters have the best possible opportunity when their hunt begins.
The remote mountains, thick timber, and high basins of this region provide the kind of wild country that Montana hunting is known for.
“Aaron runs a first-class operation. He works hard, knows the country, and puts you in real opportunities at quality animals. One of the best hunts I’ve ever been on.”
